GreenDrop donation center opens in Bristow
Provider of charitable fundraising services intended to save reusable items out of landfills. Since 2012, GreenDrop has provided the means to donate items in a way that is good for the environment, good for charities, and good for communities. Its free-standing locations are largely abandoned gas stations and convenience stores that have been converted into collection centers. $25 per person – advance online purchase $30 per person at the door. All proceeds benefit the Sentara Cancer Network Resource Center on the campus of Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge.
